R1 Engine does not match the VIN as its a different frame

This engine is due to be used in a reverse trike, so the frame itself is not needed, therefore do I need to apply for anything with regard to the engine? I take it that when I apply for a V5 it asks for the VIN, but not engine number, and the VIN may come back with an engine number, which of course wont be this one, the engine seems to have a lower oil pan as 4xv and upper cylinders of the 5jj.

Is the MSVA likely to kick up an issue with this?

Just wondering if im worried for no reason?

Cheers

Nick

Right I'm confused, you're building a trike, you've got a bike but the engine number doesn't match the one on the V5c.
You're using the engine in the trike but not the frame, so I really can't see the need for the V5c, if you do however need the V5c with that engine number do a change of engine with the DVLA otherwise you've got an engine of dubious origin with no receipt for it.
