Type 9 gearbox tag, what do markings mean?
The metal tag on my spare gearbox has the following markings:
879T AA
FOG 1D 10F
Anyone know what it all stands for, had a search via google and not found an answer but plenty of general information.

probably factory tracking numbers, don't mean anything now, These days they just use bar codes
