oil fill level for 4age

HI All,

does anyone know how much oil a 4age takes from dry?

and what oil do you recomend? (it's a 16v)

Here is a link for the MR2 MK1 workshop manual. Which is your engine. Loads of useful information on your engine. I also have a PDF for an engine rebuild if you ever need one.

Workshop manual says you need 3.8 litres from dry. Grade of oil is vague. I'd use a 10-40 fully synthetic.

When I drained mine at the begining of the winter I only got about 2L from it and I have an Accusump!

It never showed up as low or had any stavashion issues (possibly due to accusump)

I use 10W-40 part syn. Thats what the prvious owner used so I kept it the same.
