How much for ballancing?

Roughly how much would we expect to pay for crank and flywheel etc. ballancing?

For road;

Crank £69
Flywheel £40
Clutch £35
Rods £17.50ea

For race;
Crank £99
Flywheel £58
Clutch £53
Rods £25ea

Prices i got last week, though i havent used them yet. 01234 352418 Havent got any other prices yet either.

Interesting and Very odd where they break down the pricing for each bit.
On my planet.. a balance includes ALL the bit. Not a bits 'n bobs a la carte assortment.
Find another shop ?? I certainly would

Balance the crank first.
Then balance the flywheel on the crank.
Then check the balance with the clutch cover plate fitted.

Otherwise you run into big problems if you ever have to swap cranks or flywheels.
Some production cranks and flywheels (Rover & most Japanese) are already balanced to higher standards than most race engine builders can achieve.

Rods are very easy to balance accurately yourself with electronic scales and bit of inginuity, always balance rods end for end then overall.

Thats exactly what im going to do.

Bare, i suspect they list them individually as not everyone wants a full balance with crank, flywheel and clutch for varying reasons.?
