ooft, now i can breathe out!

its been a few months in the making, but i FINALLY have an exhaust that fits! lol
machining done (originall he said £60, but ended up taking ages, broke several milling cutters and drills, and needing all sorts out heavy duty mounts being made up for the mill table and ended up at £40!)

but it fits!

it does slightly touch the gearbox, but not enough to be an issue i hope....

ha ha yeah had a fight with it, and thats with only 3 studs on the bottom. will have to shorted some of them, some may have to be bolts, but for now, its 'on', but will do it more permanantly when its all finalised
going to get the fuel lines put in soon. in about 2 weeks i reckon. going to be up on the ramp at a local van hire place, and the owner races too, so he knows his stuff. i'm going to do it, but they're going to help me and give me advice

but while its up there, it'll give me a chance to get a proper look at it, get a few other jobs done and stuff. will be pretty good

just can't wait to hear what it sounds like with the exhaust on. well, i can't wait to hear what it sounds like full stop... lol

just put the rest of the system on, its longer than i thought it was. which is good, it clears the watts link bars better, but it also misses the exhaust hanger bars. might need to weld some new ones on.

i do need to pull it away from the gearbox though. not entirely sure how, but it'll need to be done. cut bend and weld i think. don't fancy doing it though

equal length? i think so. i bought the exhaust from someone who raced with it, so the tubes themselves should be race perfomance planned. the flange plate not quite so, but its alright i think
