megajolt v ecs
can any tell me the difference between megajolt & ford ecs. i know one is 2d & the other is 3d but what benifits would i gain from 3d with
bike carbs on a 2.0 zetec. i would have thought 3d would only benifit with injection. thanks in advance

Even a humble distributor is 3D to some extent, using vacuum to provide mor advance at part throttle.
The Megajolt allows you to optimise the ignition for you particular setup.
The Ford ecs which I am not familiar with will not I suspect allow you to change anything and as you have removed the Ford injection system will not
give optimum fuel burn with the bike carbs.

esc is 3d. Its load (Vacuum) and engine temp.
Esc works BUT.
was programed for the 1.1~1.3 ohv engine not a 16v engine and is not reprogramable.
Low rev limit.
On plus side you can not cock up the timming.

megajolt is only a 3D system if you connect up either a TPS or Vac. input (TPS should be easier with bike carb's as most have a TPS already)
a 3D system will give you a little better drivability and alot better MPG
