XE Engine... Ooil Pump Front Seal

Can anyone tell me the difference between QED's one at £25 (Linky) and the OE one at £5 (Linky).

Is it worth £20 extra!?

Suggest you can't tell the difference - until its been fitted for a couple of weeks, maybe? What is the old saying - you get what you pay for? - Doesn't always apply, of course, and the part is probably exactly the same.

Maybe.

Autovaux sell the original Vauxhall one and that will be fine
(Not expensive either)

Afraid some of the QED stuff can be very expensive

Not keen on some of the ebay oil seals either as quality seems to vary an awful lot
