Filterking leak

my filterking regulator/filter is leaking a little. its nothing major (apart from leaky fuel in engine bay) just annoying. ive changed both seals in it and done it up quite tight. im scared of cracking the glass bowl.
its just a dribble seeping out of it and dripping onto the gear box, just wet to the touch.
do i need to do it up even tighter?

do peoples fuel pumps stay on all the time too? i would have thought they would stop pumping when they were at the right pressure, just sitting with the ignition on you just hear the pump pumping away all the time.

cheers
chris.

Should leak (clearly) mind hasnt given problems.

Assuming its a fairly standard facet pump they continue ticking all the time, although you can hear the tone and speed of tick change as fuel its draw off or not.
