Redex injector cleaner
Does this do any good in carb engines?
my motorbike has been standing all winter and it seems to be running a bit rough.
I suspect the carbs are a bit gummed up with evaporated fuel residue and I wondered if the injector cleaner might help?
Cheers
Mark

I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

I suspect it is standard Redex, but needed a rename as the percentage of cars with cards must be below 1% by now. I use it in all my cars at least
twice a year
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Well as I understand it carb cleaner spray requires the carb to be dismantled so it can be used inside - I was hoping a fuel additive would avoid the
need for this. I will still have spray round with the carb cleaner though

when i tried using redex, it was in a e30 bmw (318) and while i was using it, as directed, it kept splitting fuel hoses. and when i stopped using it,
it was fine, so.... might be coincidence, but i wouldn't use it again just in case
