Finally... Relief

After many hours spent out in the shed trying to get my damned carbs to work after speaking to a few people on what to check it was suggested i adjust my needles. It was then i realised, that there were no needles in the bloody carbs i bought.

So purchased another set of carbs on ebay. These were filthy so i just swapped the diaphragms and needles over to my other carbs. Connected them up, turned the key, pushed the button and vroom! It fired up within a couple turns and revs nicely and idles fine.

Its been a absolute nightmare but its finally sorted now! So glad its done.

Thanks to everyone whos had an input in all my posts on this topic! Probably wouldnt have realised without all of you depsite it being such an obvious (well it is now!) problem.

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

And thats always what takes the time to fix. I got stuck on an electrical fault for ages, and it turned out to be a simple bad earth.

Kindest Regards,

I actually had that today aswell! The car wouldnt turn over properly, turned out to be a bad earth on the jump lead i was using to connect the battery into the loom! Once that was sorted it kicked into life no problem!
