Advice On Buying A Duratec

I'm considering changing the engine in my Fury. Probably over Winter, but getting bits together before then.

I'm thinking of looking at an engine still strapped to a 2001 Mondeo. Which bits should I be taking out of the car? It's all very well grabbing the main block and inlet manifold, but then do I need the ECU, starter motor, clutch components, and so on. After I've ripped everything out, what else am I likely to need? Things like bell housing, aftermarket ECU and whatnot.

I currently have a Crossflow with a Type 9 Gearbox in a Fury, so are there likely any parts that I could transfer?

Also, what sort of price should I be expecting?

It's early stages yet, so don't shoot me down for my ignorance.

First thing to read is Flak's thread where he goes into lots of detail of his Pinto->Duratec conversion.
