Bad miss firing after night on drive and rain
Hi guys. Hopefully someone can help me out!!
As the title really. I have an Indy blade and I tried to run it this morning but after 10 minutes driving it started misfiring
I presume it's electrical failure due to the rain but cant quite put my finger on the problem
I've change the 2 coils for spares and no change
It seems to be intermittent coz sometimes it will rev up 2 around 5000 but other times it won't rev higher than 2000.
I also noticed a hissing sound coming from the engine when the engine is missing. Is this normal ??
Any help will be very helpful

PLease can someone help..
Done a few checks tonight after work and it seem like the engine is running on 3 cylinders.
No 3 cylinder is either not running or running poorly.. I took the spark plug out and its sparking so I now thing that this may not be an electrical
fault as first thought.
If the car got wet like it did because I didn't put it in the garage and it rained bad. Im just wonering if water could be effecting it
someother way. but Im not up to scratch on these engines so thats why I need u guys.
I've read on another post that water could have getten into the fuel tank but Im unsure of how this could happen and what this would do to the
engine ??
Im also looking into the possibilty that No3 carb could be somehow grimed up or something ??
Not sure if there are any other options or whether or not the rain has got anything to do with it !!
could this be a head gasket ??
Any helkp will be appreciated..
Thank Alan

Have you checked the connections to the sensor for the spark control and the plug leads?-

From what I can see of your photos you dont have a hole in your bonnet to let water into the carbs so that shouldn't be an issue due to the rain
but it may be worth doing a compression test to see if the head gasket has gone.
It does sound like a similar problem I had when my head gasket went on my ZX9R.

first thing i would do as others say is a comp test... if all well check it over for an air leak mate.. especially around the carb rubber fittings
were the 2 hose clips are... they tend to come slack...
