funny clutch problem this afternoon

pull up to some lights, select Neutral.

lights change, clutch down, 1st gear, slowly bring clutch up but it stays down,

pump at it a few times and it comes back to life, then its fine for the rest of the day,

until i'm heading home, pull up at a t-juntion,

go for first and the clutch stays down, pump it a few times and we're off again,

Any suggestions.

Do you have the original clutch (not a Barnett upgrade)? If so it sounds like you have too much lever travel and it's very nearly flipping the diaphagm spring inside-out. If it goes completely inside-out you need the cover off to correct.

I think you need to either alter the pedal ratio for less throw, or put stop on it.

Thanks for that.

I do have the stock clutch and that makes sense as its only happening when the clutch is fully pressed down at a junction as i'm usually lazy and don't press it down far when shifting.
