2.0 Blacktop Zetec to type 9 with standard flywheel

Finally got the engine and gearbox together tonight. New release bearing. 2.0 blacktop zetec with standard 2.0 flywheel and type 9 box. Fitted together nicely and seems to work well. This is true locost as I cant be arsed to buy different flywheels, drill them and fit some different clutch etc. And before you all say it, yes I know the 2.0 flywheel is heavier but for now Im sticking with locost option in the true spirit. Also Im sure the car wont be slow because of it!!

Anyway here it is together:

Just need to drop her in, and then I feel I will be making real progress.......

Have tou used the CT133 Bearing this will give you a longer clutch usage as it is a taller bearing I have used the Zetec plate etc with no problems in around 9000 miles

Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Excellent job there fella. I tried that route with mine and the type 9 bellhousing wouldn't go over the flywheel!
