ZZR 1200 engine oil pressure ??

A bit of help needed please.

A guy I know is doing some work on a car which has a ZZR 1200 in it. A question has come up over the oil pressure, especially when cold.

The reason there is some concern is because he is more used to car engines and the bike engine has just had a rebuild by someone else. He was a tad concerned at the low oil pressure especially at idle/cold

So can anyone comment on the expected Oil pressures when cold and I guess at other operating temperatures, through the rev range etc.

Cheers

gsxr1100wp engine. Handbook suggests 83psi when cold, I get about 100psi, this isn't abnormal on these from what I have been told.

When hot the pressure drops, at 2krpm it is just above 30psi, at 1krpm (idle) it drops below 30psi (I know because that is where my warning light is)

Out of interest, thats a lot different to the ZX12r which i have (The manual states 23 psi @ 4,000rpm with oil temp at 90 degrees).
I normally see over 30psi when cold.

I had an airlock in my sensor initially which caused a '0' reading. With the engine running i just slackened off the sensor until oil began to seep, which solved my problem (my sensor is on a length of braided oil line).
