Yes, you will also need a CT133 thrust bearing, a spigot bearing to fit into the fylwheel centre which supports the input shaft and a Pinto friction plate for the clutch which has the correct number of splines.

Most people use the 1.8 flywheel on the 2.0ltr engine as its lighter.

Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Hi John

The 1.8 flywheel and pressure plate will be fine
i used them with a mondeo 1.8 friction plate, pinto spiggot
bearing and cct133 release bearing.
Just ensure the friction plate is 220mm with a 23 spline centre
and all will be fine.

Hi John,

Just a point to be aware off that I found out when fitting the clutch to my slivertop.

The clutch pedal on my Fury was designed with quit a long throw - Pinto clutch I think.

When I fitted the zetec pressure plate I noticed that the pedal felt strange as if it was going over a fulcrum.
The clutch would disengage and then re-engage as I pushed the pedal further.

I corrected it by shortening the lower half of the pedal and the result was a longer throw and a lighter clutch
with no re-engagement.

Len.

You need a lucas lrs707 from a cvh or twincam.
If you are using the silvertop sump
you can use a pinto motor with a 14mm spacer.
