what fuel filters?
are These actually any good, or are they only good for lawn mowers and the like? will they be any good for my car with a
2litre vauxhall engine?
or what about these smaller ones?
eBay Item
anyone got any laying about? I plan on using 2, i think. one before the pump, one before the carbs. really i should only need one before the pump
though shouldn't I?
meant to say, its a bike carb set up, so only 1.5bar fuel pressure.

Yep, they are fine. I have two on my old car, and ran one on ztec engine with dellorto's.
I bought a 10 for about a fiver ages ago from here (but got other stuff, otherwise the P+P is a pain) and keep a spare in the car

nice one cheers! big ones it is then. do i really need 2?
tank is 8mm outlet, carbs are 10mm inlet, so i'd need one of each. can't seem to find 10mm ones. will just have to use 1 i guess

Should only need one, but my current car was suffering after having the engine out, thing stuff was coming out the fuel pump (it is 40 years old!) and
the extra filter seems to be staying clean, so all the crap must have got into the carbs. Hey ho. But one pre-pump should be fine. Do carry a spare,
it is a pain if they get blocked. (happened a couple of times, again old cars so iffy tanks)
The filters seem to have tails that accept 6 and 8mm hose, may be worth cutting the 6mm bit off if that will reduce restriction, and you may need an
8>10mm adaptor
