So, my thoughts with my pinto hillclimbing:
1) do you have a catch tank for your breathing? If so, mine throws it out when cornering hard at full chat, so my advice is to have something to drain
your catch tank into, otherwise they may pull you over if you're dripping oil? Pintos are notorious for leaking oil.
2) how do you cool it? I have water-wetter to get rid of the heat as well, but you may not need this.
3) unless you have a steel bottom end, try not to run it sustained over 7500rpm - it may lunch itself
4) keep an eye on oil pressure - if it starts to drop then pull in and let things cool down
5) they produce peak power around 90, 92C. don't run it beyond 100 - it's going to lose power and sustained running at higher temperatures
mean lunch again
6) what oil are you running on? valvoline racing oil is the best - it's a little thinner (bearings stay coated at higher revs and temp) and
doesn't break down until much higher temperatures.
7) the ford oil filter is the best one - if you don't have one on, change it for this.
8) If you're going proper hard at the track day, I would change the oil every other track day
they're fairly bomb-proof if you keep it inside the parameters and have all the right fluids in.

Got an oil catch can run from the block with breather filter and the cam cover vent blocked off and I think I have cured all the leaks lol
I have a polo rad with 50/50 coolant and an 82c stat
The rev limiter is set at 7k on the hard limiter and 6.8k on the megajolt soft limiter
I have 10w40 oil in at the minute is that okay and it's a ford filter on it

Sounds like you've done everything I would do.
I would suggest letting it breathe at the top as well - pintos need a lot of breathing.
Have fun

the problem is with the normal filler cap it touches the bonnet and deformes it slightly so had to make a smaller one its a factory build westfield
car so didnt really expect the poor fit i may look at slightly shorter engine mounts to drop it down a couple of mm
is 10w40 okay in the pinto engine
