Hi guys,
What oil for a 2ltr zetec black top ?? have been told 5-30 fully synthetic !!!!!

I always used castrol magnatec 10w/40 in mine, had 200k on it when I scrapped it and never missed a beat. Officially I believe it's 5w/30
synthetic or semi-synthetic.

5w30 is the stuff
It's very thin especially when hot
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

Isn't 5w30 just specified for better mpg and emmisions by the motor companys? Personally I'd be putting thicker stuff in especially if
you're giving it the beans
