Zetec remote oil filter kits

I am thinking of fitting a remote oil filter on my silvertop zetec, this will be to simplify oil filter changes as well as avoid steering link issues.

So where should i look/purchase ?

Regular searching leads me to Ebay every time, i am sure the vast knowledge of this site will point me i the correct direction.

Many thanks.

Not a Zetecer myself but would think Burton power is a good place to start

I got the stuff for mine off the bay. It is best to get mocal stuff though, a few people supply it on there.
Make sure you get decent (proper) oil hose too. You really don't want those hoses having a problem. Braided is absolutely no guarantee of quality, I always use aeroquip.

I got my oil filter relocation kit, oil cooler and thermostatic control valve, pipework and unions from Merlin Motorsport. Whilst they're not the cheapest around, they were helpful.

As already stated, Burton is also a good place to go - considering its a Ford specialist.

Thanks lads, i'll do some more research. Possible saving is only in postage if i collect from thinkautomotive who are a few miles up the road.

Thinkauto are mocal dealers too so that helps, and yes i will use aeroquip hose as its not worth skimping ££'s in that area.

I've got the Renault GT Turbo filter which is the shortest i can find, i've heard the remote take off is a touch shorter.

Is the Alfa filter even shorter..........which model year ?
