Expensive Accusump problem ? Result :)

I convinced my self the ECP valve had stopped working, could hear a click but no oil flowing to engine, engine oil level was ok so Accusump had to be full of oil and stuck shut.

It'll be the valve, go online to look see at prices fall on floor, if it is the valve it will have to swap to manual.

Pressure gauge on sump as not worked for years, needle fell off but never need to look at it, can see sump working on dash gauges so never been an issue. So I believe I have a cylinder full of pressurised oil to somehow release to fit a manual valve, put pressure gauge on valve at back "zero" cant be right, push valve in expecting a rush of compressed air, nothing.

Switch sump on, switch compressor on, whoosh oil forced out into engine and air gushes out the non working pressure gauge, result, gauge is leaking, swap gauge, pressurise system, switch on jobs a good en.

New EPC valve £200 +

New gauge, £7 = vat local hydraulic firm.

Result.
