You need to do a lot of miles to make an LPG conversion worth it.
Plus I'm not sure a highly tuned high revving bike engine would take too well to LPG either - could be wrong though!
Cheers

i've been looking a lpg converstion for raod cars and they all say theres only a small drop in bhp and mpg other than that it shouldnt do and
harm to the engine as it burns at a slightly lower heat.... but a bec doing 20-25mpg and lpg being less than half price i wouldnt have to do many
miles to get my money back...... besides that i dont even know how to do it lol

My works car is a Dualfuel Astra, it is 3 years old and has done 150,000miles, my boss got a £1500 grant to buy it, and I can do about 300 miles on
£18. It sounds like an Impreza, and drives like a Rialto, I have to switch to petrol to overtake!
My own tintop is a 1.2 Punto, which does 65 mpg on a run and 50mpg locally
My locost does 28mpg in 'normal' blatting, but with my speed shy Mrs onboard, will do over 50mpg
Isnt life too short?
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I run my range rover on LPG, its a decent sequential system and it goes better than on petrol.
LPG has a higher octane rating but a lower calorific rating, in real terms you can run a higher compression ratio, up to 13:1 I believe but get
slightly less power.
For me it saves a heap of money, but at 13-15 mpg on petrol its not surprising.
With its multiple carbs you would need around £600 for a sequential gas front end, so would need to be running some form of injection, alternatively
you could just buy a gas vaporiser and injectors and use something like megasquirt to deliver the gas.
nb/ all the cars at palmer motorsport run on LPG, nothing slow about them.
Gas is good but aim for 10,000 miles before it pays for itself

I thought that a lot of the tax releif on LPG will be lifted within a year or so, which will make LPG a similar price to other fuels anyway?

I recall a similar thing happening with good old diesel... now look at the price of it. ATEOTD demand/supply = price.
