Bike carbs
Heard about fitting bike carbs to 2.0 pinto but being a novice mechanic not sure where to start. Is it worth the aggro.
Saw an article about someone called Bogg Brothers who seem to know all about this stuff.Anyone have contact details for them
Cheers

I am having an inlet manifold made by Bogg Brothers for my Zetec / ZX9R carbs. They said thay could jet the carbs to suit my engine so they may be
able to do the same for you. I have heard good things about them and they will be getting a web site soon.
For now you can call them on 01944 738234, ask for Stephen.

Does anyone know of any formulae, aywhere, that will estimate ballpark jetting of bike carbs on car engines?
I've got my eye on some 36mm Mikunis for my crossflow but feel sure that the jetting for an 1100cc 16v revving to 10k won't even be close
for a 1700cc pushrod!

Formula
There is a formula in the David Vizard mini tuning book , I think as a general rule you will have to increase the jet size, especially if not running
an airbox, my 38mm went from 112 standard to about 150 before they would run reasonably at the top end, they could probably go higher
