Is this fuel pump OK?

Hi All

I'm converting to throttle bodies and have just purchased an injection fuel pump - Lucas part number FDB700.

The spec is at eBay purchse.

I'm using a swirl pot, fed from the original lift pump.

Can anybody see a problem with using this?

Regards

Wyn

Cant see why not??? its in line so no need to modify your tank. Pressure is made by the regulator on the fuel rail, any excess pressure is dumped back to tank. Thats one thing you will need, return line to tank! Uprated fuel pumps are only used with bigger injectors to keep the flow

Then again i mite just be talkin bol**cks

p.s make sure the oringinal pump can keep up!

Thanks.

I've got the return line, swirl pot etc all planned but I just wasn't sure if the pump I've bought would be OK. Most people seem to use a Bosch pump but I'll give
this a go.
