Anyone got any suggestions what to do with a crankcase breather pipe that can't be connected to an air filter....got a Fiat X1/9 going through MOT next week and just fitted new pipercross airfilter as old one broke....but obviously no where to fit crankcase breather now....any suggestions and what happens about emissions etc?? Does it change anything??....Cheers Oli.

Plumb it into the filter, or fit a separate smaller filter to the pipe.

Unsure what it would do to then emissions, probably nopt a lot.

The breather was bloody useless on the exxy at the best, it had a feeble attempt at a connection with the underside of the filter housing, it had a bottle brush type of thing fitted inside to stop flame back. most usually got blown off and lost, or got thrown away!

Ideally, get a filter fitted to the end of the pipe, realistically, just bin it.
