Could anyone point me in the direction of a supercharger which would be suitable for my 2.0l ecotec engine.
this is not for now but for post SVA
would the mini supercharger not be up to it?

If you're looking for a new one, I can supply Lysholm superchargers (as used on the new GT40, amongst others).
They do a wide range so there should be something to suit your application., e.g:

Hi Liam,
the mini one will be fine as long as you are not going to want over 200hp. I looked at putting one on the XE in my grasser, but it is running at the
very top end of it's rev range to push enough air for 220hp.
For 200hp on the ecotec it will be fine though, and they are ludicrously cheap!
Incidentally, I am now more or less set on using either a Saab 2.3 turbo engine or Volvo T5 2.3 turbo engine in my next grasser, but with the turbo
removed and an Eaton M112 supercharger instead...............which should then be good for around 350hp. Only complication is that the Volvo has a
very strong gearbox which should cope, but is 5 cyl which makes engine management systems a bit tricky. Saab engine is fine bit the GM gearbox
attached to it is weak!

I am going with the ford 2.3l turbo but much prefer the wail of the blower. I am not sure what kind of blower would be required to hit 275 horse or
what I can get with little effort from the stock t3????
Dale
Thanks
Dale

You could always use an eaton m62 as used in some merc kompressors.

The Lysholm is a screw compressor it has intrnal compression very efficient and they don't suffer from wear problems, like roots blowers do.

The eaton is a helical blower as well, pretty good and very cheap, and very available secondhand.
Dale, for 275hp you'll need either the M62 or M90 blowers, probably the M90.
