Sourcing Cooling hoses for Fireblade engine

I have a Fireblade engine and Nissan Micra radiator in an MK-Indy. The top rad hose needs to turn through a tight bend when coming off the engine, before doubling back to the rad. I wondered whether anyone knew if 25mm ID Silicon hoses will bend enough without kinking in this application or whether I need to use some other means of exiting the engine?

You can get silicone hoses with built-in bends of various degrees...

...you'll probably need coupling pieces to connect to any straight hoses you need.

rgds,

David

All us Anglian boys together on one thread

Sorry, that's of no use to you whatsoever.... you could try Superflex coolant hose from Demon Tweeks (quite pricey though). It is in the motorcycle catalogue.

Meter lengths in blue 6.5mm = about £22 (other bore available)

Rally Design may be cheap but their website is pants!

Scanned pages which you can't read as they are all blurred. If people are going to bother to set up a website, why can't they make it worthwhile.

Jon, maybe you could let us know what size hoses you bought and how much you paid?
