Would the plumbing be the same as the s13 200sx?

If so i can get access to one and take a look for you. It may be a week before i get the chance though.

Basically the intercooler must go in the middle of the boost pipe that crosses over the top of the eengine.

You could cut it in half, twist the ends round to the front of the car and join to the IC with some silicone hose or make whole new bits up.

Go to www.sxoc.co.uk and someone will know everything you need to know. Also available from the site is a technical guide for the cars and the engines. All very helpful stuff. Jon

The s13 use the ca18 DET just like the s12. not sure if the plumbing would be the same or not but I think it would be the first port of call as the s12's are not exactly common anymore.

The S13 uses a Cadet the very same that is in my garage just after being rebuilt and painted! Try http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/index.php , it takes you straight to the forums which you dont have to pay for. Bit of a confusing site they have but basically you regiter for the forums, then pay (if you so wish) to get a crappy newsletter.

Just had a look in your archive and that is a very different looking ca18det to mine.... so im guessing the plumbing is different. What exactly did you need to know? If i know exactly i could try and find out.

Nissan Silvia Power

I am currently stripping an S12 Silvia Turbo to do the same transplant into a Jago Geep , I have a water flow diagram for the CA18ET in my Chiltons' manual* if you have any further problems.

Mark

*- Chiltons 7170 Nissan 240sx 200sx etc. 73-89 covers a fair bit relevant to UK models plus I have managed to get a Nissan Tech Spec pocketbook which shows some UK differences too.
