Dipstick... where does it attach?
At the end of my dipstick i have a flat hook type afair that obviously bolts up to something but what? With the carb on it can sit tight up against
the inlet manifold but theres nothing for it to attach to.
Any ideas?

Oooh lucky you having a dipstick tube with a bracket!
Mine doesn't have one and it just flopped about till I glued it in one day
Make a bracket after you have got rid of that horrible carb and manifold and put twin 45 's or bike carbs on
Cheers

Does it not come up through the gap in the carbs and bolt directly to the engine? That's how they're normally attached...

Mine has a hole with a rubber insert. It is positioned out of shot just to the right. The hole is in the throttle linkage bracket.

I think i'm just going to bolt it to that hole over to the right.I don't think that hole is needed so that would solve the problem.
