Just had a horrible thought how the heck do I set up the vacuum advance now Ive got twin 40 dcoe's or do I just leave the advance tube off and
reset the timing or would a later non vacuum dizzy work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Bob

It may be poss to connect all four port runners together to get a constant-ish vacuum. This works on some engines, but on others still gives a nasty
pulse effect which will confuse the hell out of the dizzy. The safest bet is to get a non vacuum dizzy, or if you can stretch to it go for a Megajolt
set up. Haven't got that far myself, but MANY others on here seem more than pleased with it.

Leave it disconnected --- vac advance has zero effect on performance is purely a dodge to allow the running of weaker mixtures at very low
loads/throttle opennings to reduce fuel consumption.
in the 60s/70s a common l trick was to remove the vacum capsule and fix a screw through the distributer base plaste to stop it moving.
