Pinto Dry Sump
Ebay item 8042735515 (not sure how to post the link)
Looks a bit "Heath Robinson". Is this a typical method for dry sumping a pinto and is it worth it?
I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.

It's not bodged so much as bashed. Most dry sumps I've seen have a simmilar narrow channel down the middle that the oils drains in to.
The sump is not the clever/expensive bit though, the oil pump is!

yes and yes, but it looks like the auction is only for the sump, pump tank ect would be reqd.

Sorry, I really meant is it worth dry sumping not is that bashed sump worth more than £5. I'm considering modifying my own anyway.

Are you looking for a lowered height sump Pajsh?
If so I may have one for sale and will be in Crewe/Nantwich on Sunday if you wanted to meet up to have a look.
I bought it from one of the guys here before having my one modified by MAC#1

IMHO I would say no, nothing too be gained by dry sumping a pinto for road and track day use apart from ground clearence maybe, but you can gain that
by modding your own sump.
