1.6 CFI CVH & RS turbo head

I picked up a bargain engine/gearbox/ancillaries package yesterday.

I posted some questions, and got loads of good advice (as usual), here.

http://locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=40111

In the posts it was suggested that an RS Turbo head would bolt straight on.

My question is what are the benefits of doing this?

I am assuming I wouldn't be using the turbo, and I would want some carbs to fuel it.

Once I have got to grips with this bit, expect several stupid ignition questions posted in the near future.

Thanks, David.

Not sure if thee is an advantage to using the Turbo head.

Most reliable source for CVH info is here--

I must be getting old, I had to take the head & ancillaries off just to lift it out of the back of the car!
