Bike Carbs on a 4AG?
I picked up a set of carbs, and now want to put them on my 4AG. They're a set of Keihin 38's off a Honda CBR900, and are in a lot better
shape than the Webers i'm currently running. Does anyone out there have any pictures or tips on mounting them to my motor?
Thanks,
Rod

You will probably need a custom made inlet manifold like this:

They are R1 carbs to fit a Zetec 1800.
Try Bogg Brothers as they did mine.

Andy,
Thanks for the tip on the manifold. Now another question... I'm currently running an SU fuel pump putting out about 2 psi, is this pump too
strong for the needle & seats in the bike carbs? Will i require a fuel pressure regulator?
Thanks again,
Rod

Jetting?
So, i've now started on my manifold, and finally got the thing running nicely on Webers, but now my concern is what jets should i run?
My carbs are 38 mm Keihin's, and the motor is a "warmed up" 4AG. Warmed meaning its running a small port cylinder head and 294
duration cams. So, can anyone give me some pointers?
Thanks,
Rod

I purchased the Bogg Bros manifold....and am very satisfied with the workmanship. I'm just starting to work on the throttle and choke cables.
Does anyone have some pictures of how they did this for the R1 carbs?
