Stainless Radiator Header Tank
Another plug for my mate Clive:
just done a radiator header for a chap with a Nova on MigWeb, looks damn fine, as his stuff always does!!!!
Get yer orders in!

what is a radiator header tank used for?
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

To keep a "head" of water in the system and to bleed air out of it. Basically connect any areas of the engine where air can get trapped in
the waterways (usually thermostat housing area) to the bleed connections at the top of the tank, and the bottom connection into one of the main water
pipes between the engine and the rad or heater.
The system is then kept completely full and free of air pockets.
Old systems in simple rwd cars just used the radiator top tank for this, but modern cars with smaller radiators which are lower than the engine need a
header tank.
