Does anybody know how much it would cost to have unleaded inserts put in at an engine shop?
On a xflow whats the going rate?

Don't know the cost of unleaded seats but if it's any help I have a reconditioned head with some porting, unleaded seats and big valves
that I brought recently which I'm now going to sell due to change of plans Cost me £150 , suspect unleaded seats cost best part of£100?

I was quoted £120+VAT by my local engine shop to have a pinto done. Should be the same on a xflow as its still 4 inserts (exhaust side only).

Don't forget that with an X-flow you will probably have to get the valve guides done before they can fit the new seats - they use the bore to
align the cutters.
I think I paid around £100 + VAT for mine.
