CV Boots - universal ones ok?
My Mondeo transaxle and driveshafts will need CV boots and I just want to check that the universal types like
this sre
truly universal.
As I am assembling new parts I havent got anything as a reference so any help is appreciated.

That's exactly what I have used Mike.
I didn't buy the fitting cones though.
Being a cheepskate I used the top of a plastic drinks bottle and lots of silicone grease

If using stretch boots get QH ones -- they are more expensive but much better.
The cheapest fitting cones are sold by http://www.buypartsby.co.uk
But the boots they sell are cheap but aren't great quality.I used Olive oil to lubricate the cones when fitting worked great
