RS2000 Alloy Sump in a Velocity

Just wondered if you guys can offer some advice. Have just done a quick trial fit of my 2 litre Pinto engine fitted with a RS2000 alloy sump and bell housing (type 9 box) and I appear to be having 'issues' with the width of the sump.

Where it is wider to increase capacity at the rear it is fouling the chasis......I did not think this would be a problem to fit.......was I wong in thinking this would fit? or have I just got some other strange problems?

Would it be possible for someone with a Velocity to let me know the distance between the chasis rails either side of the sump.

Many tanks
James
