alternative petrol tanks???

does anyone no of alternative petrol tanks to go in the locost as pre-made 'book' tanks aren't cheap!

i saw a tank from a Mini Van which looked ok, has anyone heard of that being used?

I believe a Truimph Spitfire will work with very few mods.

One that get's used over here a lot is a bog standard Jerry can. It carrys about 25L you can buy them brand new, then braze in all connections etc.
Only drawback is you'll need to put in a resricted sized nozzle for unleaded only pumps if you are going through SVA.
I get a range of over 100 miles on mine which is fine for a BEC.
For a CEC you could plumb up 2 of them if desired.

Yeah the Spitfire one will work just fine. Another is Jensen Healey but they are rarely in good shape and rather pricey.

Here is the Spit tank I picked up. Might not work with IRS though.
