Exhaust rooting

Any one ever fitted a 'through' type exhaust with a back box to a seven?

Basically the silencer on the side exits to a back box out the back with a link pipe over or through the ISR?

I want my car to be practical and I think the presence of a big f*#k off tail pipe will help.

I think the Donkervort runs two silencers, one alongside the bodywork, then pipe goes back into the rear arch over the top and out the back. I think someone posted a picture of it quite recently.

I was wondering about making mine quieter the other day. The easiest option is to get a massive can made, but not sure even that would guarentee it.

I had two ideas, sling the silencer from an Elise / MGF under the back (apart from the fact that it would be directly below my fuel tank).

Or use a silencer from a Nissan X-Trail, which looks like it passes through the can twice. It has the inlet and outlet on one end and a U shaped bend on the other side. Would this give twice the noise reduction?
