Using standard Zetec Injection
Hi all.
Now then. Im gonna attempt to use the standard injection system on a 2.0l Zetec. Most likely this engine will be used from a focus. The only thing
I've found that may cause anything to be a problem is that the plenum chamber sticks out too much. However I'm using my own chassis design
so can't see much of a problem, but I've found some replacement intakes, which look like they remove the plenum chamber, specifically the
Injen one on this link. Choose focus on the left, then intake, and take a look. What do you all think??

Just get your welding gear out and knock up something along the lines of the Trust one (top left pic), using the standard AFM too.

I will be using standard injection from a 94 mondeo, but will try to weld something like griffin offers. You can also buy it off course.

Even has drawings of it:

Some early ones definately dont need the key etc. Im using a mix of L reg Mondeo & L reg Escort Zetec parts. Neither of the donors had chipped
keys and from distant memory of working in a Ford main dealer they didnt have chipped keys until around about late N reg. Going with the ealier engine
also has the added bonus of not needing a CAT
