Zetec Flywheel
Anyone know if a 1.8 CVH flywheel will fit a 1.8 Zetec?

Yes
Direct fit but you may need to dril the bolt holes out by a mm

Alternatively why not use a 1.8 zetec flywheel?

If you use a CVH flywheel / clutch do you still need the ct133 release bearing?
does anyone know the weights of the CVH and Zetec 1800 flywheels .

Haven't got one, but do have a 1.8 CVH one with a new clutch.
If the zetec is better I'll get one but if no difference might as well drill out the holes on the cvh one.

Having no crank pickup is your only problem with the CVH one

What about fitting the CVH crank pulley onto the zetec as this has a pick up on it?
Would need to make a mount for the sensor but that should be quite easy.

I fitted part of a CVH trigger wheel onto the Zetec pulley (can't remember why!) - looked like

The standard CVH pulley fits straight on to the Zetec crank, but unfortunatley the pulley is then too far forwards to drive the water pump.
I guess it is probably going to be easier to get a Zetcec flywheel.
Should have bought an engine with one on in the first place!
Cheers
