Twin SU's on a x-flow 1600

Has anyone fitted SU's to a x-flow 1600? I'm considering this and wanted some info about size, manifold, performance, etc....
Any help would be nice......

Thanks Jacko, did you make the manifold yourself? And what size carbs are they, look like 1 3/4", is that on a 2 litre?
