mechanical fuel pump
hi guys
does anyone know if the mechanical fuel pump on a vaux ohc will be good enough to run twin 40 dells or should i fit the facet solid state pump ?if fit
facet will i also need regulator?

You'll prb need the facet pump but no harm in trying the mech one to see if it does the trick....Oli.
If your not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room!

Hi Bracey,
I have no experience with the Vauxhall pump but I did try a mechanical pump on the Pinto running a pair of DCOE40s and it was fine until you put you
foot down and then the poor old pump couldn't keep up. I changed to a Facet Red Top and Filter King regulator and then we were in business.
