is the weber 32/36 too big for 1.3 crossflow

hi all just been told the above carb is too big for a 1.3 crossflow is that right can it be jetted down the engine is not tuned at the moment

please help

my uncle used to run twin 45's on his 1.3 xflow stock car.....

thats what i thought the engine is not tuned was hoping it will run better with this carb.

does anyone know what jet i will need or should a weber specialist be able to help

Dunno what jets you'd need, but here's the jet settings for a Pinto and Crossflow 1.6;

1.6 Crossflow

Primary Secondary
Main jet 120 115
Air correction 160 120
Emulsion tube F50 F50
Idle jet 45 45
Pump jet 45
needle valve 200


1.6 Pinto

Primary Secondary
Main jet 140 135
Air correction 165 160
Emulsion tube F50 F6
Idle jet 55 50
Pump jet 50
needle valve 200

Can't remember where I found 'em, but hopefully they'll be of some use...

just called webcon and they were very helpful my carb is not a 32/36 its a dgav 32 the guy who sold me it got it wrong so anybody know sizes etc for a DGAV 32
