Bike carb issues

I'm not a kit car man myself (dad built one ages ago) but I've bought some bike carbs to fit to my 1300 8v Polo.

They are CBR 600 ones (as recommended by the brothers Bogg) and I have a few questions.

There are a number of pipes/cables which I'm not sure what they do.

I'm guessing 'A' is fuel feed, but is one feed and one return?

I have hunch 'B' is an oil breather return, and not sure about '?'

Also there is another cable linkage 'C' which I can't fathom out

Also there is this thing which turns a screw on the carb which I'm guessing could be choke?

any ideas gratefully received

Hi,

'B' is a breather

'C' is the choke cable and slider, the thing in your last picture is what you use to adjust the tickover speed.

Great, thankyou

So do I need to bother with C? It's quite stiffly sprung and doesn't seem to have much movement for a choke?

Also do I need to block off both parts of '?' as I have a catch tank on the oil breather

I was thinking of running individual filters as I don't have the airbox but there are what appears to be jets outide the bellmouths:

Sorry to be a pain!
thanks again

Tom

Is there a pipe between the points 'A' as it looks to me that both pipes will need feeding as I can't see any link between the carbs ??
I might be talking tosh, as I havn't seen them before

What you have in your hand is just the extension for the the idle adjustment (ie you turn/ twist it and it turns the screw on the carb)
you could take this off but it will be easier just to use it (and clip it out the way the rest of the time)
