starter motor

hi all
got a black top zetec
1.8 blacktop flywheel
which starter do i need?
tried a sierra dohc wont engage
so is it the 1.8cvh i need

any pert numbers

I believe that its the CVH motor that you need. I stand to be corrected though...

LRS 707 is the lucas starter motor number for the silver top series 1 bolted to a type 9 box.

I'm presumimg the black top will be the same bolted to a type 9 but i'm sure someone else can confirm.

got the lrs 707
well its a bosch 0986 015 190
which crossed over is 707
bolts up just wont engage.

my brain is frying now

Not sure...I've a 2.0 blacktop engine but am using 1.8 silvertop flywheel from Dunnell.

1.8 CVH Sierra Starter bolted straight up and worked...
