What clutch cable

which type of clutch cable do I need for my locost with a type 9 gearbox ?
Any advice greatly received.

I used one from a 2 litre (pinto) capri. Seems to be about right.

A standard clutch cable will probably thread through the exhaust headers with the pnto engine, where it will gradually melt.
Apparently, a Sierra Cosworth clutch cable is better as it's longer and can be routed round the headers.
Not tried it yet, so any other opinions would be appreciated.

Its nowhere near the headers as they go over the top chassis rail unless you are building a Tiger...
