1600 crossflow sump depth.

Can anyone tell me the depth of a standard 1600 crossflow sump when measured from the crank pulley centre? mine appears to be a little to deep to fit without shortening as it is about an inch below the bottom of the gearbox bellhousing and measures 6.5 inches from base to pulley centre.
Paul.

Mine is about the same, gives me 4" ground clearance,no probs yet as the sump is in the middle of the front axle, just look out for the small speed bumps in the middle of the road
