Hayabusa Mileage ?
Hi all, I've just bought a busa engine with 14,000miles on it.
Is this alot of mileage to now be putting into a car and does it need any sort of major overhaul before i commence the fitting?
Do they have tappets and if so should i readjust them prior to fitting?
Any info greatly appreciated!

Should be good with only 14k on the clock.
Just check the clutch before the installation, it's so quick and easy and it will save any hassle later

average 3k-4k miles per year for most british bikes. Alot of people use hayabusa's for touring since they've got so much thump but with so
much comfort, so they're likely to carry a few more miles than your average sports bike

Ok thanks for that, do I also need to upgrade the plates and springs?
