Which Starter?

IIR the Pinto 2.0 starter is slightly different from the 1.6 version.

Can anyone tell me which starter will fit the type 9/1.6 Pinto combination? (i.e. will a 1.8 CVH/type 9 fit, or other Pinto starter?)

Ta.

Assuming your Pinto isn't really ancient (ie early 70's) it should take any Pinto pre-enaged starter.

I have a genuine new old stock Lucas B90 Remanufactured 2 litre Capri/Cortina 2 litre Pinto automatic starter (auto have a slightly higher torque starter) in the shed --- but the cost of posting it would probably be more than the price.
